Jean Porter Malley JEAN PORTER MALLEY (2021) a Dormant Diploid is 26 inches tall with a 4 inch bloom. Three branches support 19 buds. Rebloom may extend the season from June to September. Seedling # mtm1612e (seedling x Creative Design) is winter hardy in NH zone 5, a good increaser, an eye pleaser, and should be a welcome addition to the front of the garden bed. JEAN PORTER MALLEY is a lightly ruffled open form with eggnog yellow petals with a raspberry eye above a yellow to green throat. Named after a long-time special friend.

Seedling # mtm1305E (SPACE JUNK x WESTBOURNE HUMMINGBIRD'S DELIGHT). KRISTA MAHER is a small pink open form with a wine edged lilac eyezone above a large yellow to bright green throat. Petals have light ruffles on the edges. KRISTA MAHER is a good increaser and the eye pleasing color combination makes it a welcome addition to the front of the garden. Named after our daughter-in-law.

Hardy in zone 5 NH, in 2018 MELODY ANNE MARSHALL bloomed from July 12th to August 23rd. Seedling # mtm1344L (SELFIE x DREAM SEQUENCE) is a large red purple open form with a darker eye above a brilliant green throat with light darts into the eye. Petals and sepals have light ruffling on the edges. MELODY ANNE MARSHALL is a good increaser and both pod and pollen fertile. The contrast between the dark eye and intense green throat draws attention in the garden. Named after our daughter.

Coming from strong parents QHAPAQ NAN is a large open form that is a vivid red orange with yellow to green throat with yellow midribs. Northern hardy in zone 5. Parentage = Point Of View x Orange Clown - seedling # mtm1012c. QHAPAQ NAN is impressive in a clump. QHAPAQ NAN means "The Great Road" and is the native name for the main Andean backbone of the 23,000 km road system that spans six South American countries. A demonstration of universal value on a grand scale.

CENTRIFUGAL FARCE CENTRIFUGAL FARCE (2016) 27" ML 9" DOR DIP
15+ buds on 2 to 3 way branching. Mid Late bloomer (in 2015 July 20 th through August 20th) CENTRIFUGAL FARCE exhibits a dominating presence in the garden. Coming from good parents CENTRIFUGAL FARCE is a large crispate unusual form that displays quilling as well as talons on the sepals. The various bloom appearances have that funk factor suggesting movement and dancing (imagine John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever). The lighter flesh pink to peach of the petals and sepals accentuates the very large lime green throat. CENTRIFUGAL FARCE really stands out in a clump, increases well, and is easily both pod and pollen fertile. Makes some big kids. Northern Hardy. Parentage (Coral Eye Shadow x Cheap Quills - seedling mtm908e) A welcome addition for the diverse collection.

17+ buds on 3 way branching. Early season bloomer (in 2014 July 8th through August 11th). Overnite Sensation is a large open form bright red with a darker red eyezone which exhibits an eyelash transition into a bright green throat. When viewed in sunlight the eyezone sports a bluish overcast. OS stands out in a clump, increases well, and is both pod and pollen fertile. The name has been a hands down favorite among friends and relatives for some time.

A welcome addition to the late garden and worthy of a picture.

FOUNTAIN OF FIRE FOUNTAIN OF FIRE (2013) 37" M 8" SEV TET
Seedling MTM719a (Ledgewood's Christmas Angel x Springfield Clan) Conservatively registered as an 8" flower, much larger blooms are common. The 37" scapes have an average 13 - 15 blooms on terminal y plus one lateral branch. The midseason blooms are vibrant red with darker veins and a dark red eyezone above a green to yellow throat. The petals have white darts at the edge of the eyezone and the sepals have a lighter edging. The red of the petals exhibits a radiance in the sunlight. This semi-evergreen tetraploid is a good increaser and is easily fertile both ways like it's pod parent. In the 1983 Planet P Project song "Why Me?" the astronaut was soaring through outer space, riding on his FOUNTAIN OF FIRE.

Julie Patchouly increases well, is easily pod and pollen fertile and should never be mistaken for Julie Patchouli the bass player for the 80's all girl garage band "The Pandoras". Branching is 4 with 22 buds (mature clump having upwards of 6 branches and 30 buds).
