Harmon Hill Farm, located in Zone 5 in southern
New Hampshire, is operated by Carl and Marlene Harmon. We've been growing daylilies since 1998 and display over 4,400
cultivars and our price list contains over 2,000 cultivars. While we are well known for our large selection of modern northern and Region 4
hybridizers' introductions we also carry many southern intros that have turned out to be hardy here in NH.
Don't miss our Photo Gallery page. You'll find over 1,800 photos of the 2,000+ daylilies we have
for sale grouped alphabetically.
Update for 2021
We are proud to have been selected by Mike Maher,
Dan Matzek, Mike Huben and
Bob Sobek to release their new and previous introductions. We have also been selected by
Lori-Ann Jones to sell her previous introductions. Lori still handles the sales of her newst intros at
Knoll Cottage Daylilies .
During the months of May, June, and early July we are only open by appointment and by chance. Carl works in the garden almost every day
weather permitting but we do not keep regular hours in the early months in case Carl takes a day off or has to run an errand. We normally begin
the shipping of our internet orders the first of week of May and usually get all caught up by around the 21st of May. Peak bloom for daylilies
here in NH is normally around July 23rd and from mid-July to around 8 August we plan to be open Wed through Sunday from 10-4 each day, Mondays
and Tuesdays open by appointment. As we get closer we will post more definite hours for peak bloom. We hope you can come to visit during peak
For 2021, we have added a New for 2021 tab on this web site of exciting hard to find daylilies that are being offered for the first time here at
Harmon Hill. These clumps are being divided in early May for sale and line out. On this list are a lot of very hard to find Judy Davisson,
Curt Hanson, Jamie Gossard and a smattering of other hybridizers whose plants have performed well here in Zone 5, Southern NH and are now ready
to be distributed.
We have added another 40 or so new to us Iris varieties which will bloom from May 10th to the first week of June. We have also added about
40 more Lilliums varieties and have many potted Lilliums for sale. Our Hosta selection has dropped off but we do have 4 new varieties available
and hope to get a few more. A new 50 plant Hosta display bed was planted last fall at the entrance to the garden where the pavement changes to
a dirt road.
With the relentless help of new part time helper Nicholas Rioux and veteran helper and plantsman Cameron Stern, we got nearly all of our
weed problems under control and the garden looked the best it has in years and those efforts have now proven even more fruitful as spring
cleaning and weeding, while still a huge job, has been much easier than I can remember, except for my being another year older. Like lots of
nurseries during this pandemic, Harmon Hill had its best sales year ever in 2020. We had very large numbers of first time visitors and we
hope old and new customers and friends return again this year, we are expecting even greater things for our garden in 2021.

We ship to the US and Canada and also hand-carry plants and orders every year to Toronto at the CAN-AM Meeting,
normally held the first weekend in May.
We are primarily a field grown daylily nursery and dig on demand. We are now offering some
daylilies in pots and we will continue to increase the number of daylilies available in pots.
While we have a rather large price list, there are a great many other daylilies that are available as well.
If you do not see a plant you are looking for, send us an email or give us a call to check on availability.
We are often able to help our customers find a source if we are sold out or do not happen to grow the daylily
they are looking for.
"Grow Them Well" everyone!
